Terms of Service

The Service
IELTS Actual Tests is a free, independent study resource: month-dated listening and reading practice tests rebuilt from what real test-takers reported, a public recall wall, writing and speaking question banks, mock exams, and study tools. The practice library requires no account and no payment.
One optional feature is paid: AI grading credit packs, which let the mock exam grade your writing and speaking responses with AI-generated band feedback.
By using IELTS Actual Tests, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Content Sources, Copyright, and Removal
Every practice test and recall on this site is a reconstruction built from test-taker submissions and from recall reports publicly shared on the open web. Nothing here is an official exam paper: we do not copy official IELTS papers, Cambridge books, or any copyrighted preparation material, and rebuilt tests are clearly labelled as reconstructions from memory.
Because recalls arrive from many contributors and public channels, we cannot verify the provenance of every fragment. If you believe any content on this site infringes your rights, email us with the page URL and the basis of your claim — we will review it promptly and remove confirmed material.
We respond to all good-faith removal requests. No legal formality is required to start a review; a plain email is enough.
No Official Affiliation
IELTS Actual Tests is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by IELTS, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge Assessment English.
References to IELTS, its test sections, band scores, or question types are for preparation purposes only and do not imply any endorsement, partnership, or official affiliation. Official IELTS rules and results always outrank anything produced by this service.
Practice Material, Not a Score Promise
Rebuilt tests are faithful to what test-takers remembered, but memory is imperfect: wording, order, and difficulty may differ from the original sitting. Treat every test here as practice material, not a preview of your exam paper.
Band scores from AI grading are a practice calibration against the public band descriptors — NOT a prediction of your real exam result, which depends on your own performance on the day.
AI Grading Credits
- Credit packs unlock AI grading for mock-exam writing and speaking responses. Credits are consumed only when a grading run executes; taking tests and reviewing answers is always free.
- Pack sizes, prices, and validity are as shown at purchase. Credits have no cash value except as described in our Refund Policy or where required by law.
- Grading is performed by artificial intelligence, including large language models operated by third-party providers. You are purchasing AI-generated feedback, not human grading.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and the terms shown at purchase apply.
Your Recall Submissions
When you share an exam recall, you confirm it is your own recollection of a test you sat, written in your own words — not text copied from official papers, books, apps, or other protected sources.
You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, condense, translate, and combine your recall with other reports — including into curated summaries and rebuilt practice tests — always anonymously.
We may decline, edit, or remove any submission at our discretion, including after publication.
Acceptable Use and Availability
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, account abuse, or attempts to bypass credits, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions. Do not scrape, mass-download, or redistribute the practice library or recall database as a dataset or competing product — it is free to use, not free to resell.
We aim to provide a stable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI providers, hosting providers, payment providers, or other third parties may affect availability or output quality.
We may change AI providers, model routing, or service configuration without prior notice.
Disclaimers and Liability
The service is provided as is and as available to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Because tests are reconstructed from human memory and feedback is generated by artificial intelligence, content may contain inaccuracies, gaps, or errors. Review everything critically; it is a learning aid, not professional advice or an official assessment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IELTS Actual Tests will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost opportunities, lost profits, lost data, or exam outcomes.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product or legal requirements change. The updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
