The time I used my phone for something important was one afternoon at work, about two months ago, in our office near the river.

What I used my phone for was to call a taxi immediately through an app, because it was faster than waiting for one on the street. While we waited, I also searched quickly for the nearest hospital, so the driver would know exactly where to go, and I called my manager to tell her what had happened. It was important because Vy needed real medical help fast, not just a plaster, and every minute mattered, especially with Da Nang traffic sometimes being slow.

As a result, we got her to the hospital within fifteen minutes, and the doctors said we did the right thing by not waiting. She needed a few stitches but recovered completely within two weeks. Since then, our office keeps a proper first aid box, and I still think about how useful my phone was that day.
