A Lesson You Remember Well

Gần nhất ra thi tháng 5–8/2026

Đề bài (cue card)

Describe a lesson that you remember well

You should say:

  • what the lesson was about
  • when and where this lesson took place
  • what happened during this lesson
  • and explain why you remember this lesson so well

Band 6.5

The answer explains the lesson's impact in short, plain sentences ('He said I had designed for myself, not for them'; 'it made me a much better designer'), which are clear and correct but linguistically simple, typical of Band 6.5.Câu trả lời giải thích tác động của bài học bằng những câu ngắn, đơn giản ('Anh ấy nói tôi đã thiết kế cho bản thân, chứ không phải cho họ'; 'nó khiến tôi trở thành một nhà thiết kế giỏi hơn nhiều'), rõ ràng và chính xác nhưng về ngôn ngữ còn đơn giản, đặc trưng của Band 6.5.

The lesson I remember well happened during my first month working at my studio, about five years ago, here in Da Nang.

My manager, a man called Khanh, gave me my first real project, a small app for a local coffee shop. I designed the screens exactly the way I thought looked best, without asking the client much about what they actually wanted. I was quite proud of it.

During the meeting, the client didn't like it at all. Afterwards, Khanh sat with me and explained, quite calmly, that good design is not about what looks nice to me, but about solving the client's problem. He said I had designed for myself, not for them. At first I felt embarrassed and a bit upset, because I had worked hard on it.

I remember this lesson so well because it changed how I work completely. Now, before I design anything, I always ask a lot of questions first and try to understand what the client really needs. Every project I do now, I think about Khanh's words. It was an uncomfortable lesson, but honestly, it made me a much better designer, and I'm grateful he told me directly instead of just fixing it himself.

  • FCHe said I had designed for myself, not for them. The sentence reports the manager's verdict in one plain clause, using the past perfect ('had designed') correctly to mark it as prior to the meeting, but without any further unpacking of what 'designing for myself' actually meant in practice. A 7.0 answer at the same point would likely add a short example or consequence attached to the statement; here it stands alone as a flat report of what was said, leaving the reflective weight to the next paragraph rather than building it into this sentence, consistent with the 6.5 target of stating one clear point directly.Câu này thuật lại nhận định của người quản lý trong một mệnh đề đơn giản duy nhất, sử dụng chính xác thì quá khứ hoàn thành ('had designed') để đánh dấu nó xảy ra trước cuộc họp, nhưng không có bất kỳ sự khai triển thêm nào về ý nghĩa thực tế của việc 'thiết kế cho chính mình'.
  • LRit made me a much better designerEvery word in the phrase is common and unremarkable — 'made', 'much better', 'designer' — with the comparative 'much better' doing the only evaluative work, rather than reaching for a more specific description of what actually improved (asking more questions, understanding client needs). This keeps the outcome statement clear but generic, which fits the 6.5 lexical descriptor's ceiling; a 7.0 answer would likely replace this with something more specific and self-aware, naming the actual skill that changed rather than just its overall effect.Mỗi từ trong cụm từ đều thông dụng và không có gì nổi bật — 'made', 'much better', 'designer' — với cụm so sánh 'much better' (tốt hơn nhiều) làm toàn bộ công việc đánh giá, thay vì vươn tới một mô tả cụ thể hơn về điều thực sự đã cải thiện (đặt nhiều câu hỏi hơn, hiểu nhu cầu khách hàng hơn).
  • GRAI remember this lesson so well because it changed how I work completely. The single 'because' clause links the memory directly to its stated cause with no further subordination, and the intensifier 'completely' does the emphatic work a more complex structure would otherwise carry at a higher band. It's accurate and clearly reasoned, satisfying the 6.5 target of 'a few basic complex ones' built on familiar connectors, but it doesn't attempt the kind of layered complexity — specifying exactly how the work habit changed within the same sentence — that a 7.0 answer would typically build around this same claim.Mệnh đề 'because' duy nhất nối ký ức trực tiếp với nguyên nhân được nêu ra của nó mà không có thêm sự phụ thuộc nào, và trạng từ nhấn mạnh 'completely' (hoàn toàn) đảm nhận công việc nhấn mạnh mà một cấu trúc phức tạp hơn có lẽ sẽ đảm nhận ở một band cao hơn.
Band 7.0

The answer develops the discomfort of the moment with a specific concrete detail (standing 'with nothing useful to say in front of my classmates') and closes with a clear practical consequence for how the speaker works now, showing the reason-plus-example development Band 7.0 targets.Câu trả lời phát triển sự khó chịu của khoảnh khắc đó bằng một chi tiết cụ thể ('đứng đó mà chẳng có gì hữu ích để nói trước mặt các bạn cùng lớp') và kết thúc bằng một hệ quả thực tế rõ ràng đối với cách người nói làm việc hiện nay, thể hiện kiểu phát triển 'lý do kèm ví dụ' mà Band 7.0 hướng tới.

The lesson I remember most clearly was a portfolio review during my final year at university in Hanoi, in front of the whole class.

It happened in a small critique room with about fifteen of us sitting around a table, and each student had to present a project to a visiting design professor none of us had met before. I'd prepared what I thought was a strong presentation, mostly describing my work using words like 'clean', 'modern' and 'user-friendly', without really explaining why I'd made any of the specific decisions I had.

About two minutes in, the professor stopped me and asked a single question: why that particular shade of blue, and not any other. I didn't have a real answer, just something vague about it 'feeling right', and I remember the silence in the room while I tried to think of something better and failed completely. She didn't let it go either - she asked the same kind of question about three more choices, and each time my explanation got weaker.

Afterwards, rather than moving straight to the next student, she said something I've never forgotten: that describing your work with adjectives is what you do when you don't actually know why you made a decision, and that every choice on the page should have a reason behind it that you could explain to a five-year-old.

I remember this lesson so well because it was genuinely uncomfortable at the time, standing there with nothing useful to say in front of my classmates. But it completely changed how I prepare for meetings now. Before every client presentation, I make myself write down a real reason for each major decision beforehand, precisely so I never end up standing in a silent room again with only the word 'clean' to offer.

  • FCI remember this lesson so well because it was genuinely uncomfortable at the time, standing there with nothing useful to say in front of my classmates. The reason clause is immediately grounded by a participial phrase — 'standing there with nothing useful to say' — that recreates the specific sensory memory of the moment rather than just labelling the emotion 'uncomfortable', which is the concrete-example habit Band 7.0 fluency rewards over a bare abstract claim. A 6.5 answer would likely stop at 'it was embarrassing' without this added image; the intensifier 'genuinely' also marks the claim as felt rather than performed. It doesn't yet reach the further reflective turn that would push the answer toward 7.5's more explicitly evaluative development.Mệnh đề lý do ngay lập tức được neo lại bằng một cụm phân từ — "standing there with nothing useful to say" — tái tạo lại ký ức cảm giác cụ thể của khoảnh khắc đó thay vì chỉ gắn nhãn cảm xúc là "uncomfortable", đây chính là thói quen dùng ví dụ cụ thể mà Fluency Band 7.0 đánh giá cao hơn một tuyên bố trừu tượng trần trụi.
  • LRShe didn't let it go either'Didn't let it go' is an idiom for persistent pressure, chosen here instead of a flatter paraphrase like 'she continued asking', and the tag 'either' links it back to the professor's earlier single tough question, showing the idiom is doing connective work across sentences, not just decorating one. This is a comfortable, natural collocation rather than a stretch for something more literary, which matches the 7.0 target of 'a few flexible... ones' plus 'one natural collocation' rather than the denser idiomatic range expected at 7.5.'Didn't let it go' là một thành ngữ diễn tả áp lực dai dẳng, được chọn ở đây thay vì một cách diễn giải phẳng lặng hơn như "she continued asking", và cụm đuôi "either" kết nối nó trở lại với câu hỏi hóc búa đơn lẻ trước đó của vị giáo sư, cho thấy thành ngữ này đang làm nhiệm vụ liên kết xuyên câu, chứ không chỉ trang trí cho một câu.
  • GRABefore every client presentation, I make myself write down a real reason for each major decision beforehand, precisely so I never end up standing in a silent room again with only the word 'clean' to offer. The purpose clause 'precisely so I never end up...' is layered onto an already-fronted adverbial ('Before every client presentation') and a reflexive construction ('make myself write down'), stacking three grammatical devices into one sentence while staying accurate throughout. That's more ambitious than the single 'because' or 'so' clauses a 6.5 answer typically manages, though the structures themselves are common enough that this reads as comfortable rather than the more marked constructions that would flag 7.5. The callback to 'clean' from earlier in the story also closes the anecdote's argument, not just its grammar.Mệnh đề mục đích "precisely so I never end up..."
Band 7.5

The lecturer's quoted remark - 'You will never again make that gap on a screen, because you now know what it costs' - and the compact final line about the pain being the lesson show the vivid, quotable phrasing and reflective depth characteristic of Band 7.5.Lời nói trực tiếp được trích dẫn của giảng viên - 'Con sẽ không bao giờ để khoảng trống đó xuất hiện trên màn hình nữa, vì giờ con đã biết cái giá của nó' - cùng câu kết cô đọng về việc nỗi đau chính là bài học cho thấy cách diễn đạt sống động, đáng nhớ và chiều sâu suy ngẫm đặc trưng của Band 7.5.

The lesson I remember best was a typography class in my second year at university in Hanoi, and I remember it mostly because it went so badly.

Our lecturer, a quiet man in his sixties who'd trained as a printer before computers, walked in one morning and announced that we wouldn't be touching a screen for the whole day. Instead he'd borrowed cases of old lead type from a print shop, and each of us had to set a four-line poem by hand — letter by letter, backwards, with tweezers — lock it into a frame, and print it on an ancient proof press in the corner of the studio.

It took me four hours. I dropped an entire line on the floor twice, set a 'b' as a 'd' without noticing, and my first print came out with the second line upside down. Everyone's did. By the afternoon the whole class was silent, hunched over these tiny grey letters, and the room smelled of ink and frustration.

The reason I remember it so well is what he said at the end, when we finally had twenty smudged, slightly crooked poems pinned to the wall. He pointed at the spacing between two letters on my print and said, 'You will never again make that gap on a screen, because you now know what it costs.' And he was right. Every time I nudge letter-spacing in a design tool, I can feel the weight of those lead letters. It's the only lesson I've had where the pain was the lesson, and a decade later it still shows up in my work every day.

  • FCIt's the only lesson I've had where the pain was the lessonThis closing line is a compact generalisation built on wordplay ("the pain was the lesson") that reframes the whole four-hour anecdote as a single insight, rather than simply summarising what happened -- precisely the reflective, evaluative closing move the 7.5 descriptor names as a defining feature. A Band 6.5 or 7.0 answer would be more likely to end with a plain statement like "I learned a lot from that class." Because it directly echoes the lecturer's own words earlier ("you now know what it costs"), it also shows the speaker synthesising someone else's insight into their own, rather than just reporting it.Câu kết này là một sự khái quát hóa cô đọng, được xây dựng dựa trên lối chơi chữ ('the pain was the lesson'), định hình lại toàn bộ câu chuyện kéo dài bốn tiếng đồng hồ thành một nhận thức duy nhất, thay vì chỉ đơn thuần tóm tắt lại những gì đã xảy ra — chính xác là bước kết bài mang tính suy ngẫm, đánh giá mà tiêu chí band 7.5 nêu đích danh như một đặc điểm mang tính quyết định. Một bài band 6.5 hay 7.0 nhiều khả năng sẽ kết thúc bằng một phát biểu đơn giản kiểu 'I learned a lot from that class.' Vì nó trực tiếp vọng lại chính lời của giảng viên đã nói trước đó ('you now know what it costs'), nó cũng cho thấy người nói đang tổng hợp nhận thức của người khác thành nhận thức của chính mình, chứ không chỉ đơn thuần tường thuật lại.
  • LRthe room smelled of ink and frustrationPairing a literal, sensory noun (ink) with an abstract, emotional one (frustration) inside the same collocation is a genuinely idiomatic move -- it lets one verb ("smelled of") carry both the physical scene and the classroom's mood at once, rather than describing them as two separate sentences the way a Band 6.5 or 7.0 answer would. The abstract noun also avoids the more obvious, expected word choice (e.g. "the room smelled bad"), showing lexical flexibility rather than a memorised phrase. It captures the exact atmosphere the story has been building toward -- silent students hunched over tiny lead letters.
  • GRA'You will never again make that gap on a screen, because you now know what it costs.'Embedding a full, punctuated direct quotation as the climax of the narrative -- rather than paraphrasing it into reported speech -- takes sophisticated control of quotation mechanics in spoken delivery, and the quoted sentence itself contains its own subordinate because-clause, adding a further layer of complexity inside the quotation. A Band 6.5 or 7.0 answer would more likely report the gist ("he told us we'd remember this") rather than reproduce the exact words. Using the teacher's real sentence as the answer's turning point also strengthens coherence, since the final paragraph is built around unpacking what that one line meant. Một bài band 6.5 hay 7.0 nhiều khả năng sẽ tường thuật lại ý chính ('he told us we'd remember this') thay vì tái hiện chính xác từng từ. Việc sử dụng chính câu nói thực sự của giáo viên làm bước ngoặt của câu trả lời cũng củng cố tính mạch lạc, vì đoạn văn cuối cùng được xây dựng xoay quanh việc giải mã ý nghĩa của câu nói đó.

Mostly physical things that were present at the moment. My mother has a biscuit tin with our hospital bracelets from when we were born, her wedding invitation, and a drawing I made at four, and none of it has real value except that it was there. Photos are the obvious choice now, though people keep so many that none of them mean much. People also keep tickets, letters, or a gift from someone who has passed away. What seems to matter is that the object cannot be replaced, because the event cannot be replaced either.

A surprising number of small, boring things. There are also passwords, appointments, what's in the fridge, and whose birthday is this week. Most of it is really social memory, like who said what or what you owe someone. I disagree, though I understand why people think this. I once arrived at a client's building with a dead phone and realised I didn't know the floor, the room, or even the name of the person I was meeting, because all of it was saved in my phone. Technology stores information, but it doesn't understand it, so you can't really think with facts you don't hold in your head. There's also a smaller cost: remembering is part of caring. The final sentence repeats 'if forced to choose' from the opening, a small sign of the more limited vocabulary variety typical of this band.Câu cuối lặp lại 'if forced to choose' từ phần mở đầu, một dấu hiệu nhỏ của sự đa dạng từ vựng hạn chế hơn điển hình của band này.

Recent history, if I had to choose, because it explains the people around you. I never understood why my grandmother keeps three sacks of rice in the house until I learned about the shortages of the 1980s, and suddenly a lot of her habits made sense. Recent history tells you why your country's roads, laws, and fears look the way they do now. Ancient history has a different value, which is distance — it's easier to think clearly about power when the empire is long gone and nobody's family is involved. Ideally you would study both, but I would keep the recent one if forced to choose.

Less than we would hope, honestly. Everyone in Da Nang remembers the big floods, and the city is still building on the floodplains, because remembering a mistake and having a reason to avoid repeating it are two different things. History helps most when it feels specific and recent enough to seem real, so countries that lived through hyperinflation tend to fear it for generations. It helps least when people decide their own situation is different this time, which almost everyone does. So understanding history gives you a warning, but whether people act on it depends on politics and money.

    So sánh Band 6.5 / 7.0 / 7.5 cho câu hỏi này
    Band 6.5

The verb pair 'stuck... disappeared' is plain and literal, less vivid than the higher bands' 'stuck... evaporated' image.Cặp động từ 'stuck... disappeared' đơn giản và theo nghĩa đen, kém sống động hơn hình ảnh 'stuck... evaporated' của các band cao hơn.

Pictures, for most people and most things, and I see this in my own work. When we tested an app's onboarding, users could recall the steps from the icons days later but couldn't repeat a single written label, because the image stuck while the text disappeared. Images use more of the brain and don't need translation. But 'accurately' is the tricky word, because a picture is remembered vividly and often wrongly, while words can pin down exact details like a date that a picture cannot. The best memory tools probably combine both, like a diagram with a caption.

    • FCthe image stuck while the text disappearedA plain verb pair. 7.0 and 7.5 both replace 'disappeared' with the more vivid, slightly scientific 'evaporated', a stronger image for how quickly the text was forgotten.Một cặp động từ đơn giản.
    • LRImages use more of the brain and don't need translation.A simple, direct sentence. 7.0 and 7.5 both upgrade the verb to 'engage' and the phrase to 'don't require translation', a more formal and precise register than this plainer version.Một câu đơn giản, trực tiếp.
    • GRABut 'accurately' is the tricky word, because a picture is remembered vividly and often wrongly, while words can pin down exact details like a date that a picture cannot.A single long sentence joining several ideas with 'because' and 'while'. 7.0 and 7.5 both split this into a short punchy sentence ('But 'accurately' is the catch:') followed by a fuller explanation, giving the key word more isolated emphasis than this combined version.Một câu dài duy nhất nối vài ý bằng 'because' và 'while'. Cả band 7.0 và 7.5 đều tách nó thành một câu ngắn, mạnh mẽ ('But 'accurately' is the catch:') theo sau là một lời giải thích đầy đủ hơn, mang lại cho từ khóa sự nhấn mạnh tách riêng hơn phiên bản gộp này.
    Band 7.0

The closing semicolon sentence 'For accuracy, words; for durability, pictures' delivers the whole argument's conclusion in a compact, aphoristic line.Câu kết dùng dấu chấm phẩy 'For accuracy, words; for durability, pictures' truyền tải kết luận của toàn bộ lập luận trong một câu cô đọng, mang tính châm ngôn.

Pictures, for most people and most things, and I see this professionally. When we tested an app's onboarding, users could recall the steps from the icons days later but couldn't repeat a single written label — the visual stuck, the text evaporated. Images engage more of the brain and don't require translation. But 'accurately' is the catch: a picture is remembered vividly and often wrongly, because we reconstruct the details, while words pin down specifics like a date or an amount that a picture simply can't. The best memory aids probably combine them, which is why a diagram with a caption beats either alone. For accuracy, words; for durability, pictures.

    • FCthe visual stuck, the text evaporatedThe verb 'evaporated' is more vivid than 6.5's plain 'disappeared', and the parallel comma structure is tighter than 6.5's 'while' clause.
    • LRBut 'accurately' is the catch:A short, punchy sentence isolates the key word for emphasis, more effective than 6.5's longer combined sentence that buries 'accurately' inside a subordinate clause.
    • GRAFor accuracy, words; for durability, pictures.A compact, aphoristic closing sentence using ellipsis and a semicolon, a structure 6.5's version doesn't attempt at all. 7.5 keeps this exact closing line unchanged, showing it was already at ceiling level.Một câu kết cô đọng, mang tính châm ngôn dùng phép tỉnh lược và dấu chấm phẩy, một cấu trúc mà phiên bản band 6.5 hoàn toàn không thử.
    Band 7.5

The contrastive tail 'which text always does' after 'require no translation' is a compact, slightly pointed addition that neither lower band includes.Cụm đuôi đối lập 'which text always does' sau 'require no translation' là một bổ sung cô đọng, hơi sắc bén mà cả hai band thấp hơn đều không có.

Pictures, for most people and most purposes, and I see this borne out professionally all the time. When we tested an app's onboarding flow, users could recall the steps from the icons days later but couldn't repeat a single written label — the visual stuck, the text evaporated almost instantly. Images engage more of the brain and require no translation, which text always does. But 'accurately' is the real catch: a picture is remembered vividly and often wrongly, since we reconstruct the details ourselves, while words pin down specifics — a date, an exact amount — that a picture simply can't capture. The best memory aids probably combine both, which is why a diagram with a caption reliably beats either alone. For accuracy, words; for durability, pictures.

    • FCrequire no translation, which text always doesAdds a pointed contrastive tail absent from 7.0's plainer 'don't require translation', implicitly criticising text by comparison in the same breath.
    • LRa date, an exact amount — that a picture simply can't captureDashes set off two concrete examples before the sentence resolves, more vivid than 7.0's comma-joined 'a date or an amount', and the verb 'capture' is more precise than 7.0's plainer 'can't'.Dấu gạch ngang tách ra hai ví dụ cụ thể trước khi câu kết thúc, sống động hơn cụm nối bằng dấu phẩy 'a date or an amount' của band 7.0, và động từ 'capture' chính xác hơn 'can't' đơn giản hơn của band 7.0.
    • GRAa diagram with a caption reliably beats either aloneAdds the adverb 'reliably' to 7.0's otherwise identical closing clause, a small but deliberate intensification of an already well-formed sentence.
  9. 9. Which people or events today do you think will be valuable to study in the future?

    Band 6.5

The final sentence stops after 'won't be the famous ones', without the higher bands' added explanation of who will be studied instead.Câu cuối dừng lại sau 'won't be the famous ones', không có lời giải thích thêm về việc ai sẽ được nghiên cứu thay vào đó như ở các band cao hơn.

I think the arrival of AI in ordinary work will be studied the way we now study the arrival of electricity. In my own studio, the year these tools appeared changed what a junior designer's job actually was almost overnight, and future historians will want to know how people adapted or lost out. The climate response, or lack of it, will obviously be studied too, probably with some anger. Closer to home, I suspect how Vietnam went from one of the poorest countries to a middle-income one within my parents' lifetime will be studied by other nations. The people worth studying probably won't be the famous ones.

    • FCThe people worth studying probably won't be the famous ones.A short, unfinished-feeling closing claim. 7.0 and 7.5 both extend this with a dash and an explanation — 'they'll be whoever the records happen to preserve' — completing the thought this version leaves open.Một luận điểm kết ngắn, mang cảm giác chưa hoàn tất. Cả band 7.0 và 7.5 đều mở rộng bằng dấu gạch ngang và một lời giải thích - 'they'll be whoever the records happen to preserve' - hoàn thiện ý mà phiên bản này để ngỏ.
    • LRhow people adapted or lost outA simple two-item pair. 7.0 and 7.5 both extend this to three verbs — 'adapted, resisted or simply lost out / got left behind' — a fuller list than this shorter version.Một cặp hai mục đơn giản. Cả band 7.0 và 7.5 đều mở rộng thành ba động từ - 'adapted, resisted or simply lost out / got left behind' - một danh sách đầy đủ hơn phiên bản ngắn hơn này.
    • GRAIn my own studio, the year these tools appeared changed what a junior designer's job actually was almost overnight, and future historians will want to know how people adapted or lost out.A single long sentence with two coordinated clauses joined by 'and'. 7.0 and 7.5 both split a similar idea across two independent clauses with 'and historians will presumably want to know', a slightly more measured pacing than this one continuous sentence.Một câu dài duy nhất với hai mệnh đề đồng đẳng nối bằng 'and'. Cả band 7.0 và 7.5 đều tách một ý tương tự thành hai mệnh đề độc lập với 'and historians will presumably want to know', một nhịp độ điềm tĩnh hơn một chút so với câu liên tục duy nhất này.
    Band 7.0

The closing dash completes the earlier claim about the people worth studying, giving the answer a full circle that 6.5's more open-ended ending doesn't achieve.Dấu gạch ngang ở cuối hoàn thiện luận điểm trước đó về những người đáng để nghiên cứu, mang lại cho câu trả lời một vòng tròn khép kín mà phần kết mở hơn của band 6.5 không đạt được.

I think the arrival of AI in ordinary work will be studied the way we now study the arrival of electricity. In my own studio, the year these tools appeared changed what a junior designer's job even was, almost overnight, and historians will presumably want to know how people adapted, resisted or simply lost out. The climate response, or the lack of one, will obviously be studied as well, probably with a fair amount of anger. Closer to home, I suspect the way Vietnam went from one of the poorest countries to a middle-income one within my parents' lifetime will become a case study for other nations. The people worth studying probably aren't the famous ones — they'll be whoever the records happen to preserve.

    Vì sao đạt band này

    • FCthey'll be whoever the records happen to preserveCompletes the claim left open at 6.5's ending, explaining exactly who will be studied instead of the famous. 7.5 keeps this phrase almost unchanged, adding only 'have preserved' for a slightly different tense.
    • LRhow people adapted, resisted or simply lost outA fuller three-verb list than 6.5's two-item 'adapted or lost out'. 7.5 extends this once more to 'adapted, resisted, or simply got left behind', varying the final verb for extra vividness.Một danh sách ba động từ đầy đủ hơn cụm hai mục 'adapted or lost out' của band 6.5. Band 7.5 mở rộng thêm một lần nữa thành 'adapted, resisted, or simply got left behind', biến đổi động từ cuối để tăng thêm sự sống động.
    • GRAthe year these tools appeared changed what a junior designer's job even was, almost overnight, and historians will presumably want to know how people adapted, resisted or simply lost outInserts 'almost overnight' as a mid-sentence aside between commas, a more flexible placement than 6.5's version, which tacks the same phrase onto the end of the clause instead.

I suspect the arrival of AI in ordinary work will end up studied the way we now study the arrival of electricity. In my own studio, the single year these tools appeared changed what a junior designer's job even meant, almost overnight, and historians will presumably want to know exactly how people adapted, resisted, or simply got left behind. The climate response, or the conspicuous lack of one, will obviously be studied too, probably with a good deal of retrospective anger. Closer to home, I suspect the way Vietnam climbed from one of the poorest countries to a middle-income one within my parents' single lifetime will become a case study other nations pore over. Vì sao đạt band này

    • FCa case study other nations pore overA relative clause with the idiom 'pore over' replaces 7.0's simpler prepositional phrase 'a case study for other nations', giving the sentence more active, vivid imagery of nations studying closely.Một mệnh đề quan hệ với thành ngữ 'pore over' thay thế cụm giới từ đơn giản hơn 'a case study for other nations' của band 7.0, mang lại cho câu hình ảnh chủ động, sống động hơn về việc các quốc gia nghiên cứu kỹ lưỡng.
    • LRthe conspicuous lack of oneThe adjective 'conspicuous' is more precise and evaluative than 7.0's plainer 'the lack of one', suggesting the absence is itself noteworthy rather than just factually true.Tính từ 'conspicuous' chính xác và mang tính đánh giá hơn cụm đơn giản hơn 'the lack of one' của band 7.0, gợi ý rằng sự vắng mặt đó tự thân đã đáng chú ý chứ không chỉ đơn thuần là một sự thật.
    • GRAThe people worth studying probably won't be the famous ones at all — they'll be whoever the records happen to have preserved.Adds the intensifying tail 'at all' after the negative claim, and shifts the final verb to the more precise perfect aspect 'have preserved', a small but genuine refinement of 7.0's already strong closing sentence.Thêm đuôi nhấn mạnh 'at all' sau luận điểm phủ định, và chuyển động từ cuối sang thì hoàn thành chính xác hơn 'have preserved', một sự tinh chỉnh nhỏ nhưng thực sự cho câu kết vốn đã mạnh của band 7.0.
