Have you ever written a letter on paper?

I used to, mainly to my grandmother back in Hue, who has never really taken to phones the way the rest of the family has. There was something oddly satisfying about slowing down to choose the right words on paper, a habit texting has more or less wiped out for me now.

Do you ever take some paper and a pen with you when you go out?

Hardly ever these days, if I'm honest, since my phone has more or less taken over that role. The one exception is a battered little sketchbook I carry to client meetings, where roughing out an idea by hand still beats fumbling with an app.
